We decided to take on one of the global goals formally and by doing so we now take more directed actions and stronger decisions on our policies around the environment. We have signed up to ‘Take the Pledge’ with the United Nations Climate Change scheme and are committed to become climate neutral by 2050. This means that we will:

1. Quantify (measure) our greenhouse gas emissions;

2. Plan and immediately implement actions to reduce those emissions;

3. Consider contributing to further global emission reductions and sustainable development through the use of credible carbon credits.

A percentage of each sale goes towards the Home Tree Charity. Their aim is to establish and conserve permanent native woodland in Ireland through restoration, afforestation and education. To date they have planted 150,000 native trees and they are only getting started.
