Founder, scent blender and dog dad. I spend most of my time with my nose in the air following new ideas for our next candle. I am obsessed with Ireland and love heading off to the West Coast with my wee family in the camper and getting ourselves lost for a few days. I love landscape photography & can be blackmailed to do pretty much anything with good food or coffee.

Incense maker, packaging design. I’m Michael’s husband and fellow beard owner. I help out wherever I can, especially making food to sustain the chief candlemaker, cos I really love to cook. I also make all of the incense, from start to finish, and try to come up with new ideas to bring to our customers. I work fulltime in mental health treatment, so it could be said I burn the candle at both ends.

Shop, markets, candle pouring. Pauraic is Joe and Michaels 'Big Nephew' and is a true jack of all trades. From helping out in the shop to packing orders and pouring candles. Pauraic is studying music and has a keen ear for the hidden things often missed. The dogs just adore him and was one of the first people wee Declan took to. Hes one in a million.

Michael’s personal security escort. This wee dude had a really tough start in life. Without going into the gritty details he was found during a drug raid and was brought to a rehoming centre and eventually came to us. It tooks ages for him to trust us and settle. When he eventually did this interesting guy emerged. Part Colly and part poodle, Declan (named after Declan O'Rourke) he is always trying to herd us all around the house. He rules the roost and takes no prisioners when it comes to his temper. He always seems a bit angry and loves giving off. He is so affionate too and has a really strong bond with Michael. He still has off days and during those times you'll find him attached to Michael.

Crazy & Beautiful. We welcomed Bridie into our family only a few months ago, like Delcan she had a really rough start in life and still has a way to go. She has the most incredible markings and often stops people in their tracks on the street. She is unbelievably clumsy and is still working out how to stop when she is out running… She falls asleep within moments of getting behind her ears scratched and it's one of the most adorable things we have witnessed. Bridie has the most beautiful nature and watching her blossom into herself is a joy. We are still working out what her role in the company is, as soon as we work it out, we’ll let you know.

Cardboard Shredder. Teddy spends most of his time in the studio either shredding cardboard or standing in front of the electric cardboard shredder and barking at it in disdain. He can sense when someone needs a good cuddle and will kindly appear at your side for said cuddle.  Teddy came to us 8 years ago and was found wandering the streets around Newry, dazed and skinny. Happily he landed on his paws with us. He loves nothing more than getting into the Ocean and diving for rocks. He has even made friends with three locals seals at the beach near the house
