Each of these stoneware jars would have a story to tell and now they have a new story, having been lovingly made into soy candles! Made during the 1900s, these would have primarily been used for marmalade or preserved fruit. They were glazed using an interesting salt glaze, giving them a glossy and textured finish. Please note, each one is differnet and may not exactly match the ones featured here.
